Scotty was hired as a reserve firefighter in 1999.  He obtained the position of Crew Leader on September 11th, 2006 and held that until April of 2011.  Due to full-time work committments he is no longer able to work as a reserve firefighter/EMT.  Scotty now works with the department in the role of photographer, web editor, and trainer.
