Licenses/Registrations/Permits:

In order to conduct business, itinerant vendors must obtain permits from Pullman Police Department as per Pullman City Code 8.95. Call Pullman Police Department at (509) 334-0802.

As per Pullman City Code 6.94 every person who performs a taxicab service in the City shall first obtain a taxicab operator’s license or a taxicab owner’s license as required by this Chapter. Such license shall be posted prominently in the taxicab with a schedule of all fares and charges.

As per Pullman City Code 6.95, as of Jan. 1, 2010, registration with the City of Pullman shall be required of all commercial businesses within the city limits. Click here for information about the process. Packets are available at Pullman Police Department, 260 SE Kamiaken or call (509) 334-0802.

If you are starting a commercial business within Pullman city limits, you also need to contact the State of Washington (http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/cities/pullman.html) to be certain that you are meeting all requirements of the state.You may also wish to check with City of Pullman Planning Dept. to make certain your business will comply with zoning ordinances.
