City stormwater services staff work to improve our local environment and quality of life by reducing pollution, maintaining and improving infrastructure, reducing impacts to the natural drainage system and increasing awareness on stormwater issues.

 
City staff works closely with schools and community groups and organizations such as the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute to educate them about the environmental impact of litter and other wastes into our water system.
