Tree City USA awards recognize communities that have proven their commitment to an effective, ongoing community forestry program.  Beginning in 1997, Pullman has been awarded a Tree City USA recognition each consecutive year.

Trees in Pullman help to clean the air, conserve soil and water, moderate the temperature and bring nature into our daily lives; and, wherever they are planted, are a source of joy and spiritual renewal.
