Firefighter Reed McPherson and Firefighter Jon Odell graduated from the Washington State Fire Training Academy on April 20th, 2012.  Both were at the academy since late January of 2012.  While at the academy they completed numerous courses on firefighting, hazardous materials response, National Incident Managment System, physical fitness, and multiple hours of live fire training.  From start to finish academy class 2012-01 recorded more than 400 hours of training.  Both Jon and Reed excelled in their performance and each received awards recognizing their contributions.  The fire department is proud of their performance during the academy and are pleased to have them back on our home turf.  If you see them out in public please congratulate them on their performance!
