Medic 35 Ambulance 35 was purchased in 2007 for $199,000. It is the primary Ambulance out of Station 31. It was built by Horton on an International chassis. It weights just over 8 tons and carries both EMS and fire related equipment.
Prevention 31 Prevention 31 was purchased in 2007 replacing Utility 31 as the primary fire investigation unit. It is a Chevy pick-up truck that carries fire investigation equipment.
Medic 31 Ambulance 31 was purchased in 2005 for $168,642. It is the primary Ambulance out of Station 32. It was built by Medtec on an International chassis. It has a 466cu in engine with 255 horse power. It weights just over 8 1/2 tons and carries both EMS and fire related equipment.

Pumper-Ladder 31 (PL31) was purchased in 2004 for $646,000. It is based out of Station 31. It was built by Smeal on a Spartan Motors chassis. The engine has 500 horse power. It weights just over 64,500 pounds. It has a 85 foot platform ladder. It carries 300 gallons of water as well as foam. The pump is made by Waterous and can pump 1750 gallons-per-minute. PL31 also carries three additional extension ladders with lengths of 35 feet, 24 feet, and 14 feet. It has two roof ladders and one folding ladder.
Rescue 32 Rescue 32 was built in 2001 and purchased in 2006 for $92,400. It is built on a Ford F-550 chassis. The vehicle has a Ford Power Stroke V8 engine with 265 horse power. It weighs just over 16,000 pounds. This vehicle carries 340 gallons of water with a 90 gallon-per-minute pump for wildland fire applications. It also carries vehicle extrication tools, air bags, rope resuce equipment, EMS equipment, scene lighting equipment, and spare air bottles for use at emergency scenes.
Utility 31 Utility 31 was purchased in 1999. It is a Chevy mini-van. It was used both as the fire investigation unit and as a man-power carrier. In 2007, a vehicle was purchased for fire investigation/prevention and this vehicle is now used for transportation of firefighters to various events and trainings.
Medic 33 Ambulance 33 was purchased in 1999 for $139,000. It is housed in Station 31. It was built by Medtec on a Ford chassis. The vehicle has a Ford Power Stroke V8 engine with 215 horse power. It weights just under 6 tons and carries both EMS and fire related equipment.
Engine 32 Engine 32 (E32) was purchased in 1999 for $285,000. It is based out of Station 32. It was built by H&W on a Spartan Motors chassis. The engine has 400 horse power. It weights just over 33,000 pounds. It carries 500 gallons of water as well as foam. The pump is made by Waterous and can pump 1750 gallons-per-minute. E32 carries 5", 2 1/2", and 1 3/4" hose as well as many other fire-related tools such as chain saws and axes. It has a combi-tool that is used for vehicle extrication.
Hazmat 31 HazMat 31 is a tractor-trailer rig that is used to carry a large amount of items that could be needed at the scene of HazMat releases. The equipment on board includes HazMat suits, air bottles, decontamination tents, decontamination equipment, tools for stopping leaks, and more.
Medic 34 Ambulance 34 was purchased by WSU Fire in 1997 for $92,000. After WSU and Pullman Fire merged the ambulance was moved to Station 31. It was built by Medtec on a Ford chassis. The vehicle has a Ford Power Stroke V8 engine with 215 horse power. It weights just under 6 tons and carries both EMS and fire related equipment.
Engine 33 Engine 33 (E33) was purchased in 1992 by WSU Fire for $235,000. After WSU and Pullman Fire merged it was moved to Station 31. It was built by KME on a KME chassis. The engine has 350 horse power. It weights just under 35,000 pounds. It carries 500 gallons of water as well as foam. The pump is made by Hale and can pump 1750 gallons-per-minute. E33 carries 5", 2 1/2", and 1 3/4" hose as well as many other fire-related tools such as chain saws and axes. It has a set of vehicle extrication equipment which includes a ram, spreaders, and cutters. This engine also carries airbags for lifting objects as well as cribbing.
Medic 32 Ambulance 32 was purchased by WSU Fire in 1989 for $80,000. After WSU and Pullman Fire merged the ambulance was moved to Station 31. It was built by Mobile Medical on a Ford chassis. The vehicle has 185 horse power. It weights just over 5 1/2 tons and carries both EMS and fire related equipment.
Tech Rescue 31 Technical Rescue 31 (TR31) was the old Rescue unit until replaced by Rescue 32 in 2006. TR31 has a 1988 Ford chassis with a 350 cu. in. gas engine. The utility box was transferred from the previous rescue unit to this vehicle. As a technical rescue unit it carries specialized equipment for high and low angle rope rescue situations as well as confined space and trench rescue equipment.
Engine 31 Engine 31 (E31) was purchased in 1985 for $85,000. It is based out of Station 32. It was built by Grumman on a Ford chassis. The engine has 250 horse power. It weights just over 29,000 pounds. It carries 600 gallons of water as well as foam. The pump is made by Waterous and can pump 1250 gallons-per-minute. E31 carries 5", 2 1/2", and 1 3/4" hose as well as many other fire-related tools such as fans, chain saws, and axes.
Hazmat 32 HazMat 32 is an old Pullman Ambulance that was retired from EMS service but given a second life as a command vehicle. The back was fitted with a desk and chairs. Computers and other research equipment can be used inside the vehicle near the scene of a HazMat release in order to help mitigate the problem.
