The Pullman Police Department provides a variety of basic and enhanced public safety services to residents, businesses and visitors on a daily basis. The delivery of these services comes in many forms including emergency response, general patrol and pro-active crime suppression, investigations, traffic and parking enforcement, animal control, code enforcement, dispute mediation, community outreach and education programs, and emergency preparedness.

The Pullman Police Department embraces the Community Policing model of active community engagement and cooperation. The expectations I have for my staff is that they deliver public safety services in an honest, fair and professional manner, working with the community to enhance their quality of life.

The Police Department is staffed by quality men and women who are committed to this community. Every day, the civilian and commissioned members of the Pullman Police Department earn the distinction of ‘Pullman’s Finest.' The nature of police work often exposes employees to the worst and most dangerous of circumstances. Yet, day in and day out, employees remain committed to doing their best so that others may enjoy a safe community.
